holengarth - Germans are unlikely to buy the kind of quality that Magnet sell. Magnet is owned by NObia, the same company that owns poggenpohl and used to own pronorm. however they are wholly made in Darlington. We’ve had to remove your signature. Hi Holengarth
Welcome to the MSE forum.
Just a little word of warning - some may see your post as advertising for the company web address you have mentioned.

With regard to your actual post though, you are correct, John Lewis' own brand kitchens are made for them by Mereway, but they are a slightly different specification to the standard Mereway range.
Also Magnet are not a German brand. You may be slightly confused as the parent company for Magnet is Nobia who are German but Magnet manufacture in this country.
Nobia also owns Poggenpohl and Gower (the kitchen manufacturer that Wickes and Benchmarx use).

Alno is a german kitchen available from other retailers but there are less expensive similar ones eg Pronorm. Search on google to find.
Magnet are a budget german brand and basic probabaly better off with something like Pronorm aagin who are better quality and bigger range.
Miton kitchens of Italy are pretty amazing for quality and price.0 -

I bet you have never had a kitchen off them. You just work for them. Spam features.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -

That's because Holengarth owns Arena kitchens and Alaris!! Holengarth has been used several times before in the naming of a company and house he used to own!!0
