My five definitions of Credit Card users are as follows
1. MUGS
2. RUGS
3. THUGS
4. SLUGS
5. SMUGS
Everyone on this board should be a Number 5.
The problem is that the number 3s and number 4s have moved into position numbers 1 and 2.
So the people now doing their number 1s and number 2s all over us are ??????Old Saying Once bitten twice shy

I've got no idea what any of that means.0

Thanks for all your responses.
From my past experience with MBNA they will allow you to transfer a credit limit from one of their cards to another, therefore if you get a new one, they will transfer the credit limit from the other. I am going to try and get them to do a deal on the card I have just paid off, and then if they wont, will apply for a new one and then try to transfer the credit limit. Again, anyone had any experience of this?0 -
If you have more than one MBNA card (up to 10 so I hear on here...), do you administer them all from the same online banking site? How does it work?0

Yes lots ...have done this several times ...and been refused a couple of tims as well (but i apparently have in excess of 20 closed down accs on their system - i my name - so they are well aware of what i am up to !!! )
Thankfully i have a partner to "do it all again" with !!!!

You sure do - I log onto my Virgin Money online banking and I can also look at my MBNA-run Alliance and Leicester credit card from the same screen. The first thing you do when you log in is choose for which credit card you want to see the details. You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
hey,
ive never had a credit card before and i get the basic gist of stoozing, but theres a few things id like to no, on the virgin 0% card it says a 2.98% handling fee applies, what is this? im guessing it means out of the debt on that card i must pay 2.98% of it back?
also how much money will a credit card company lend you, if you have next to no bills to pay and have never had any money problems?0 -

With no history of credit card use you are unlikely to get the best deals and very unlikely to get decent credit limits.0
