I've started being pestered by this company. They claim to be exempt from the TPS and give advice on behalf of the Central Ministry of Justice.
Anyone know anything about this situation?

Report them for fraud (based purely on what you have said).
No company is exempt from the TPS and no claims company calls on behalf the ministry of justice. The latter has occurred enough for scam warnings to have been issued by various regulatory bodies.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
I know that Falcon and Pointer are based in Swansea - the most common location for scam PPI claims companies.Anyone know anything about this situation?
They are authorised by the MOJ but then so are most scam PPI companies.
That does not stop them scamming you.
However, you say they are pestering you.
Send an e-mail to info@falconandpointer.com with the title "complaint".
Complain that they have contacted you by (e-mail, phone etc) on (dates) without permission and you want them to cease and desist and to confirm by post to (address) that they will do so.
Keep a copy of the email.
If they start again, you can then take the matter to the Legal Ombudsman.0 -
I have just visited their website. They boast that you pay them £399 + VAT (about £480) up front and can keep all of the compensation.
That means once you have paid up they can do nothing.
It sounds too much like a Nigerian scam to me.0 -
Plenty of reports about them in the last few days

for one number they are using.
CAN be reported to TPS and ICO if a live call of any sort.
TPS: https://complaints.tpsonline.org.uk/consumer
ICO: https://www.snapsurveys.com/swh/surveylogin.asp?k=138312369469
CAN be reported to the ICO if purely an automated one.

I have found that the :Legal Ombudsman is taking an active interest in spam. The difficulty with telephone conversations is actually proving it unless you record it.0

I got an automated call from them to a TPS registered number at 10.58 this morning.
They got a complaint at 11.19.
The MOJ acknowledged receipt of its copy at 11.38.
If you are getting unsolicited calls, do complain and do copy in to consumer@claimsregulation.gov.uk0 -

Rock Law, HELM?
It is a basic law of the sea that if you do not operate your helm correctly you are liable to end up on a rock.0
