Need a smartphone & better sim deal, looking for advice.
Hello everyone,
I've just finished a £10 a month 600 minute contract with Orange but I need to get a new phone.
I'm looking to get the Vodafone smart ultra 6 due to it's screen size and 2GB of ram (I would be interested in knowing about any other alternatives). One option is a 2 year £10 a month deal (500 minutes 1GB data) from Talk Mobile but I've read that that they're not very good, the other option is to get the phone from Amazon for £120 and get a 1 month rolling contract £5 sim from Life Mobile (who I've never heard about until now). They both come to the same price over a 2 year period but at the moment I prefer to go for the latter because of Amazon as well as a 1 month contract.
Vodafone has a 12 month contract for unlimited minutes and 2GB data for £5.50 after cashback from mobiles.co.uk but I'm not at all familiar with cashback and I also can't see the type of sim that will come as the smart ultra takes nano sims.
I've been thinking of calling Orange for a lower price but I don't know if they will halve my monthly amount from £10 to £5.
I also have broadband from them for £7 which I got as a deal 5 years ago because I was an existing customer so I was wondering if there will be an issue if I cancel my Orange phone account.
Advice will be appreciated.
Thanks for reading.

The ultra 6 is an excellent phone. Bought one for self and one for the wife. I would recommend a rolling 1 month contract with three as the data speed is good and they offer no roaming charges in many countries.0

Life works on the EE network and I'm currently with them without any issues so I don't think I would have any coverage issues. I was just wondering if anyone here actually uses Life.
The cheapest plan with 500 minutes from Three is £11.0
