Request judge for retrievel text records on grounds for divorce

Options
Is it possible and how would I go about retrieving records of old texts from a pay as you go Orange mobile on grounds for adultery and divorce ?
I read one can request from a judge.
These records are retrievable..yes,as GSCQ has them all already.
Thanks

I don't think GCHQ has records of every text ever sent. They monitor/have the texts of people who they feel present a threat to national security.

This kind of 'proof' isn't necessary for a divorce petition.

How many texts do you think are sent every day ?

The practicality of finding a few specific ones is something you could think about even if they are on your own phone.....if it is someone else's forget it - DPA laws exclude that option totally.

It's unecessary. and may not even be possible. Having had to deal with requests for phone records in legal cases, many providers can obly povide records of which numbers were called (not the contents of any messages sent) and in any event, unless the text said "great sex last night" it would not be proof of adultery.

If your soon-to-be ex will admit to the adultery, their admission is the only evidence you ned. If they will not, divorce them on the basis of 'unreasonable behaviour' and include in the details that they have "formed an improper relationship with" another wo/man.
