  • Back again - just about to hit the wall and stagger into bed after another non stop week.
Bob - pleased that you've had a busy day but I hope you are also managing time to relax.
Dawn - your little pup sounds so cute.
pp - enjoy your night out.
Hope everyone has had a good day - I've had a productive day for sure and hoping for a rest over the weekend...

    [STRIKE]:p PAD[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:p No heating - dd is sitting with her coat on at the moment, but it's going to be quite warm later.[/STRIKE] Heating still off but it is getting cold at night time now.
[STRIKE]:p get dh a doctors appointment[/STRIKE] He's been and is signed off for a fortnight. Not ideal but at least he's taken a bit of initiative and sorted something out.
    [STRIKE]:p NSD[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:p meals from stores[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:p 15 mins housework and declutter[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:p washing[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:p relax[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:p get ds to football training[/STRIKE]
I think that's it for me for now. Hope everyone has a good day ahead.

I've also managed to mark 6 sets of test papers, and 2 sets of books. So I'm quite pleased with schoolwork (although I have had to bring marking home as well - fell behind this week).

Sounds like a good day in the garden Ally

It was very productive. Overall a good day, except for something truly horrid in the post which caused me to have to play my Stress Reduction App for 45mins until I calmed down. :( I'm recovering with a £2.49 streamed film, a donut and half a San Miguel.

    Good Evening Everyone

CCL - Thanks for starting us off today
    Floella - Congrats
Bob & legomum - I'm fine, struggling with black dog at moment and didnt post cos I didn't want to drag the thread down (although I have now :o been feeling low about a relationship for a while but discovered it hasn't been all I thought it was or completely honest - facts have been manipulated and I've been left feeling extremely used and stupid for being so guillable)

Hi to all of the regulars and a BIG welcome to all the newbies, this is a really FAB thread with so many lovely, caring, considerate and supportive people.

    Today I have:

    Checked Banks
    Entered a few comps
    All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
Checked https://www.freepostcodelottery.com - Remember there are now 5 chances to win
    Checked Lucky Phone
Rec'd £4 vouchers from Princes (complaint about one of their products I was disappointed in)
    Watching "Avatar" from shelf

Have a great day, love to you all

Ziggy, sorry to hear that, I have been there, cut all ties and it helped my mental health a lot. Hope that you can sort things, we are all here to "listen" anytime.

Bob, Thank you, we have just put up the birthday banners, put the presents out & taken the annual photo of the room set up ready for the birthday boy in the morning :) I've felt quite emotional on and off today, and I think I may shed a few more tomorrow with happiness. (Hope that you have a lovely quiet weekend)

Ally, Hope that you're feeling better now.

Today was a bit of a naughty day, I can't lie - Muse are in concert next year and it's mine and hubbies birthday/Christmas in-between so we've "bought each other" tickets as presents (got to have something to look forward to!) and I did buy the 'cheap' seats even though I was soooooooo tempted to buy standing (mega bucks!).

    I did, however:
Hang two loads of washing on the line
I walked up to town and bought 3lb of minced beef for £3 (bargain!) and made chilli nachos for tea (instead of ordering a take-away)
Our daughter had a white chocolate ice-cream that was given to her by our neighbours (saves me having to buy them!)
Had a jacket potato for my lunch, courtesy of my brother who bought me a big bag of spuds last week

    That's it for today!
Debt as of Sept' 2015 (LBM!): £36,351  (sickening)
Monthly outgoings on debt alone: £1243/month

We're on the right path, we got ourselves here..we're a bit lost, but we'll find our way back again!

    Morning everyone

Hope you have a lovely day with DS legomum and he has a great birthday.

I am aiming for a very low spend weekend. Have done my budget for October and factoring in a night out tonight and a meal out with family its going to be quite tight.

I gave DS1 £3.70 last night to buy fish and chips. Purely selfish because he would have come home and raided the freezer, making a mess in the kitchen in the process.

DS2 has sorted out some clothes that dont fit him. Cant decide whether it's worth ebaying them or not. It seems so much more of a hassle than it used to be and I am sure people are more picky.
