    i use start rescue its usualy a local reovery firm they'll try and start it foru if not tow to whatever garage u want-no cost up front

    I've had to be recovered from Birmingham to Scotland once, a few years ago. I think it was something in the order of £500 or so, but there was no quibble over it. Paid by credit card, sent off the claim when I got home, had the cheque banked before my credit card statement arrived (and got a fair few clubcard points out of the deal as well, as I used my Tesco credit card :))
