I am officially cured of cancer
Not getting a lot done with the Noyz Boyz here, as they're very time-consuming (4 walks a day) and energy-draining (specialist subject: leash macrame), but they are lovely dogs.:o
I need to do a towel wash, but it'll have to wait til the weekend, when Mr LW's here, as I can't currently lift wet bath towels up to hang them on the whirligig. Annoying, as today would've been a good drying day.
Pasta in cheese sauce for tonight's dins - I'm on soft food again due to having a mouth full of ulcers. Again.:(
At least my eyes are more comfortable now I have the special cleansing solution and drops.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
JACKIE - that's wonderful, absolutely brilliant news. So pleased for you.
I can't believe it's the 1st October, its just so hot! Unfortunately I hear come Monday it's back downhill!! I've got all the jobs done I intended doing. Just got back with some shopping and that's been put away. Tickets bought for tomorrow and safely stashed in my bag. Just the overnight bag to pack (shouldn't need much as it's hardly a holiday) but collapsing with a coffee first! A tuna steak thawing for me for tea but Mr TA not partial to it so having salmon instead! Probably with a few little garlic potato roasties and salad, so nice and easy.
Have a nice evening all xxxx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -

Fantastic news Jackie, you are an inspiration to us all! May you enjoy many, many more years of happiness and love.
LW - Enjoy the Noyz Boyz, they'll keep you on your toes! Hope you feel better soon.
Glorious day again once the fog lifted, bedding now back on the bed (unironed!). Can't wait to get to bed for that lovely fresh smell.
TA - Hope tomorrow isn't too traumatic, will be thinking of you. XX0 -
Afternoon all....or is it evening,
Another lovely day....had breakfast and read newspaper outside (in shade as cant take strong sun), and then had an optician appointment at 3, which lasted until after 4.30, called to see brother as he has been in Sardinia for almost 3 weeks and I needed a catch up, so really enjoyable day without doing much useful.
JackieO...so glad to hear your news.....doesnt seem so long although I expect it does to you.
Topsy...good luck with interview and congratulagions to DS.
Csarina...I have never found it useful to tell OH to take things easy, its a man thing I think...just you take care of you.
TA...good luck with hospital tomorrow.
Lyn...enjoy your doggy walks.
LW.....as I used to suffer with mouth ulcers you have my deepest sympathy.
Elona....dont beat yourself up over staying the same, the weight will go.
Feeling tired now after all activity today, neither of us is very hungry so just homemade chicken vegetable soup followed by some panetone will be dinner.
Enjoy the rest of the sun, stay safe

Thank you all so much, I too can hardly believe its been eight years I have had so many people both on here, and in my life, rooting for me.
I can remember 'talking' to the lovely MoneysavingDiva bless her one night when I was mid-chemo, hairless and feeling really fed up and grotty at about 2 a.m.
Bless her she was so kind and we nattered for ages .She is sadly missed by a lot of the older posters on here, not only for her cheerful disposition, but her recipes as well Some of which I still have saved in my online Misers cookbook. So many folk have been urging me on and keeping my spirits up when it felt like everything was going down the Swanee;)
I think you are all the amazing ones. This is what is so good about the internet, some of you I have met in 'real' life, and some I will never meet, but to me you are all friends, even though I may never see you to chat to, I know you are all there with a willing hand for any queries or recipes or just to say Good Morning to
Tonight I shall raise my glass to you all Thanks everyone you make an old girl very happy
Even my penniless DGS Ben phoned me this morning before he went off to his lecture at Uni to say well done Gran:)
Cheers chums :A:A:A:A:A

Good evening everyone,
Many congratulations JackieO on getting the all clear.
Mrs TA happy anniversary for yesterday, and good luck for tomorrow.
csarina take care of yourself and hope OH feels better.
LW hope you feel better soon
Topsy good luck with the interview and congratulations to your DS.
Hugs to all x
It's been another glorious day here, so the washing is all washed, line dried and ironed.
Another day at work which went well as it was our company's birthday today, so there was a special birthday menu for the children which they enjoyed.
As I had the whole family together for dinner tonight, I did a veggie stir fry which was enjoyed by all.
Have a good evening everyone xSPC 11 #4450
