Chaps payment not received

  • I have sent Chaps payment to my solicitor through nationwide bank since Friday 16September. On Friday morning received a call from nationwide to say my payment has been withheld with HSBC bank but they don't know the reason and they will find out that on Monday. On Monday a call from nationwide bank asking me HSBc need my date of birth and purpose of sending the fund and residence address and occupation gave that information Monday at 9:30am then nationwide called me at 4pm on Monday to say my fund will go to solicitor by 5pm Monday or by Tuesdays Noon but still now end of Tuesday the solicitor have not received the fund.. Has anyone else experienced this problem

  • on Friday I have tranfered half the payment with Halifax through first payment and was received but the remaining money was sent through chaps with nationwide the solicitor is just asking me to chase my bank
