ryanair on line check in question

Hi,

haven't used Ryanair for ages and its all changed.

i have booked outward and return flights on one reference number. i went to check in online only to find to avoid paying for allocated seats i can only check in a week in advance.

can someone please tell me if i check in for the outward flight and get boarding passes now will i still be able to go back in to the system and check in and get boarding passes for the return flight at a later date ?

don't want to make a mess of it and can't find info on the Ryanair website to answer my question.

thanks

Anne

My return flight next month is on Saturday at 16-25.
It says you can check in and print your boarding pass 7 days and 2 hours before your flight time.
Just to be sure, does that mean i can do it the Saturday before at any time after 14-25?

That's not been my experience (several times this year and in 2014).

Indeed, I've just returned from a 9 night break and for both outbound and return flights I was able to check in at 00:01 (for 20:30 and 17:05 flights 7 days later).

BTW, it's not "7 days and 2 hours", it is "7 days to 2 hours" i.e. It means the earliest you can check in is 7 days before the flight (it seems anytime on that day as YorkshireBoy advises), and the latest you can check in online is 2 hours before the flight

Also consider whether you want to be carrying (several if you're a family?) pieces of paper around with you (and folding/unfolding several times...bag drop, security, boarding, etc). If you have a smart phone or tablet etc then you can use their mobile app instead. We download to 4 devices just in case...but have never needed more than the one!

Yes (as I already said above), but if you don't want row 33 (last row, with no overhead stowage) don't do it at 00:01 as that's the first to be filled (as I found out the week before last)!
