EE "retention" when leaving Orange

Hi

I've been with Orange since the dawn of time, and I would like to get a new phone.

The phone I want is available for the same price with EE and Vodafone. However I can get 20% off Vodafone through their Employee Advantage scheme.

I was wondering, will EE try and match this if I were to call them and say I'm leaving Orange? Or would they just not care as it's "not EE"?

And I know I could just phone them up and ask, however previous experience has shown getting to speak to a knowledgeable person there can take some time!

Thanks

  • Only way to find out is to call them and see what they say, but I wouldn't hold your breath. For the best chance make sure you're within the last 30 days of your minimum term (IE not just the start of your upgrade period) so you're actually in a position to request your PAC code if they say no.
