Which provider?

Hi guys,
Recently moved into a new rented property, for only a 6 month tenancy to begin with.
Any ideas of the best provider to go with? Ideally don't want to be signing up for a 12/18 month contract, but not sure anyone offers any less these days?
Thanks in advance,

If you just want internet service provision, then A&A offer 30 day on ADSL (longer on FTTC as there is a minimum term from the wholesale backhaul provider), but you have to pay an installation charge and some people don't like that it's not "unlimited".
I use them and am happy to recommend them as a proper ISP that understand providing an internet service, and don't have people reading scripts in a call centre in Mumbai. They don't sell TV channels or telephone call packages - they will provide a "broadband only" line with no dialtone or facility to make calls, but I have my phone line with BT so I can use it for phone calls as well.
There are probably some other small ISPs that will do 30 day minimum terms for internet service only.
You might struggle to get a phone line with a short minimum term unless you are taking over a line that is already there - I haven't looked into this one recently.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -
There are a few ISPs that will offer broadband on a monthly contract (or 3 month minimum in some cases), as onomatopoeia99 mentioned. However, they will usually be business-orientated so you will not like their prices, and they will most likely have an installation charge as well.
Have you considered using a mobile Internet provider instead?0
