I think it depends on how often you want to access the contents. I guess it could be a v handy storage solution if you vacuum pack stuff for summer / winter.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

We have that one but in wood, it's very handy and holds loads.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I bought a Divan Ottoman for my daughter last year and its fab! Has gas-lift struts so barely takes any effort to lift.
Like this but didn't pay this much:

I can't vouch for the quality, but there's usually storage beds on Wowcher.0

I've probably only seen cheaper end divans with drawers, but they always seemed to fall to pieces and didn't actually store that much in comparison to the ottoman style ones. I'd definitely consider one if it had a gas lift mechanism.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0

We have one and are considering buying another for the spare room. I wouldn't buy any other type of bed now, the storage space is fantastic, we store a whole host of stuff in ours from rolls of wrapping paper, summer/winter quilts, suitcases, Ebay stuff for sale etc etc, they're fantastic.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

Small point, but IKEA beds now come in standard UK sizes - you need to ask to get the European sized mattresses now0
