sold as a 4x4 but missing propshaft do i have a claim?

Yes it seems that way dosent it, ive just had an update from the CAB who say Trading standards wont look into it until the 14 days i gave the dealer to respond is up, so thats fair enough BUT... i had a call from an 01495 no. which i traced to very near the dealer, they said they were trading standards and are supposed to be calling tomorrow morning.
I dont know why but i feel a bit skeptical about that as the CAB says if TS are going to get involved then its the office closest to the consumer who deals with it first.0 -
Phone it back and see who answers - it could well be a local trading standards office, if it isn't it might give you something interesting to report back.0

I did the day i received the call on my answering machine and they did answer with 'Trading standards'
On googling the no. all i can find is one thing on twitter but it is related to TS so its obviously just me being daft, hopefully they will call back tomorrow0
