That is true for the last series. But the previous one (when Now TV was still very new) really suffered from capacity issues and the live stream regularly crashed. On the series they then put the catch up out at 9:10 (when it aired at 9pm) to spread out people onto catch-up instead of live.

I think one of the reasons they went with the 3am airing was also to allow capacity to be spread out on Now TV and Sky Go.
