Good evening everyone,
We have been so lucky with the weather again today. I went to work, it was quite busy but I am struggling with all the paperwork and stayed an extra 45 minutes, at least I can claim overtime.
DH is out on appointments this evening, but I have DD and DS here.
When I got home from work I cleaned downstairs and hoovered the stairs and landing. I've stripped our bed, and cleaned our room and done all the bathrooms.
Dinner tonight was just veg burgers, chips and salad.
I am going to spend the rest of the evening browsing and entering competitions,
Have a good evening everyone. hugs to all.
Gers such stunning photos, its the simple things that often give so much pleasure. Thank you for posting.SPC 11 #4450 -
Evening all,
Dogs have taken off to torment someone else....am I glad! Thanks for all the kind thoughts.
Welcome to newbies...this is a lovely place to be.
Meant to get up during the night to see the red moon, but once asleep I stayed asleep.
Hugs to those of you who are not well, have relatives who are not well, and to those who are worried about anything in your lives.
We have had a few really lovely days, much shorter andvcolder on the evenings, think that we might even get some ripe blackberries, think that I will mix some apples and elderberries for a jelly, previous efforts have found that elderberries dont set very well alone.
Twins are 10 weeks old tomorrow and are doing really well, both are now well over 9 lbs and DD seems to be having very little trouble breastfeeding them both.....she isnt getting to do much else!
Sleep well everybody, talk tomorrow.

Just saying hello, am totally done for after a long day at work. I reduced my hours recently and my sense of how a week should feel is all gone to pot. I love these dry autumn days, line dried washing smells lovely, more washing overnight and I am in bed, near and snug but drooping, night all and thank you for helping me to feel welcome.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0

Spent yesterday trying to get two loads of laundry dry for youngest
dd before her older sister drove her back to Liverpool.
Middle dd got back from holiday in the early hours so made us breakfast around 9, put two loads of her stuff outside on the line and then went to lawyer to drop off some documents, chemist for treatment for her mosquito bites and supermarket for fruit and veg.
We had baked fish and salad for lunch and I made burgers with lamb mince, onions and peppers and lots of green veg tonight with raspberries and low fat yoghurt for a dessert.
She is going back to her own house tomorrow but if her laundry is done and I give her several home made frozen meals that should help her out a bit.
Another dd is bringing her cat round early tomorrow morning so I can cat sit till Sunday as they are going to a wedding in Greece.
Still eating healthily and hoping for a good weigh in on Wednesday. DH used to call it "weighing the turkeys!"
Hugs to all and welcome to ancientofdays and HOWMUCH."This site is addictive!"
