Lloyds online banking v slow since upgrade

Anyone else experiencing problems with it Lloyds online banking? We have a secure system with script blocking on our desktop browser (I work in IT), everything is allowed for Lloyds, however it stalls for around 60 seconds when moving between screens trying to load a script from marketing.lloydsbank.co.uk which suggests some poorly written code on the website - but getting this info to the right person hasn't proved very easy.
It used to be fantastic and instant to use, since their "new look" version has been trailing in the past month or so, it's become unusable.

I can't say I notice any slower response times with anything in the new Lloyds online banking.0

It is noticeably slower for me, but only with delays of a few seconds.
Enough to be a nuisance though: open a statement and there is seemingly nothing there, but just as I navigate away it appears.
Almost as annoying as Trustnet, where you wait and wait (and wait) for the page to load, then when finally you feel safe to click on the desired link, it is snatched away from you and you accidentally click on an ad instead. Funny, that...I am one of the Dogs of the Index.0 -
Is it being phased in? I'm still on the old one, though for several days I've had a 'flash' at the top suggesting I 'Take a tour' of the new one.0

I'm having the same problem. The new Lloyds / TSB / Halifax / Bank of Scotland web sites are very slow using Firefox with several privacy / security add-ons. I'm forced to use another 'vanilla' browser for on-line banking. I'd really like to know what feature I need to whitelist to allow Firefox to work with these sites.0 -

Works fine for me.
Also, on the old display there were sections for accounts that I didn't have, but which Lloyds were trying to flog. Nice to see that these have disappeared.0 -
I've had the same problem using firefox, one CPU core goes to 100% for about 60s and all browser tabs freeze. The problem didn't happen with chrome.
I found a solution which was to block the dodgy script using adblock, see my earlier post.... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=68967612&postcount=12
The problem script has different names, for the different brands and banks using lloyds systems (BoS, TSB, Lloyds, Halifax)0 -

Great stuff!
I've found the problem script for Natwest was "https://chat.nwolb.com/nwbpwebassets/vHOM.html", and for TSB it was "https://marketing.tsb.co.uk//tsbimages11/d7Rr.html"0 -

Woohoo! Fantastic reply - thank-you, I've ended up delving right into the scripts and site and can give (hopefully) a definitive answer - for Lloyds at least - which hopefully will help those with a similar problem too
The script that is causing the problem is this:javascript__(function(){function i(){if(typeof XMLHttpRequest!='undefined'){return new XMLHttpRequest()}try{return new ActiveXObject(_Msxml2.XMLHTTP_)}catch(e){try{return new ActiveXObject(_Microsoft.XMLHTTP_)}catch(e){}}}function j(a){if(typeof(a)==_string_)
All loading from https://marketing.lloydsbank.co.uk/
There are two options really, you could block the entire marketing domain (which is what I may do later if it re-occurs as the script may be updated to load different resources), but I've blocked the resource paths, as the script is loading resources which are causing the problem:
||marketing.lloydsbank.co.uk/lloydsimages61/*
and
||marketing.lloydsbank.co.uk/lloydsimages51/*
You can also add: ||marketing.lloydsbank.co.uk//lloydsimages61/*
(as I found this odd address also lurking!)
Block these using AddBlockPlus and away you go - all back to instant response!
IMO this is very bad form on the online banking which you expect to be free from scripts like this in the secure area. I will write to Lloyds and point out the technicalities when I have time.

I haven't found it slow but the BOS internet banking doesn't seem to fit well with Internet Explorer 11. I couldn't find the log off button when I first used it as it seems to have got pushed onto the next line and is almost obscured. I can only find it as I now know where to look.
Other sections have boxes that seem to overflow into other boxes too.
Anyone else having issues or is it just me?0
