BPA Ltd failing to pay London Councils for POPLA Service

From the Pranksters Blog (comments section) it is reported that an FOI request has revealed that BPA Ltd currently owe around £168k to London Councils for POPLA appeals.
Also that BPA Ltd first defaulted on their payments on 20th Feb 2015.

I trust that London Councils will shortly be taking enforcement action :rotfl::T.

Or send me in as a debt collector - the use of Mr Steak Hammer is included free of charge... :)
  • Presumably this is a cash flow problem where the PPC's aren't paying the BPA for the POPLA service.

Not surprising really. Would you trust a PPC to pay their bills?

Perhaps the BPA should get a Experian credit score on it's members.

    It might be quite enlightening!

  • I think the credit scores for the PPCs would all come back as 2 digits at most, probably 0.

  • Why am I not surprised. It seems that all these horrible motorists appealing to popla are the problem. Imagine the bill when all those PE stayed cases go through (He He)

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
