    I've got most of my appliances plugged into remote controlled switches (Domia Lite). Easier than going around unplugging/switching off everything. And simply having an off switch on the appliance doesn't typically stop transformers from still heating etc.

    the Hitachi one in the bedroom has an off switch.

    You just stick your finger up the back and push the button..............:rotfl::o
