Am slightly confused with the last one... 'Liquids, gels and aerosols' etc...do they mean these items in your hand baggage, or in your hold baggage?
would I still have to put them in a see thru bag even though there are in my suitcase?

Nope its just those in handbagage that have to be a certain size and in a clear bag everything else in your hold bagae is fine.
As for the 1 bag policy it has been like that for a while although it did get a bit slacker until the Glasgow incident and since then all the airports I've flown from (Aberdeen, Exeter, Glasgow) have insisted on it.2026 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #24 £9469.93/£20000 OP0
