Any students out there who will be starting uni this year (Sept/Oct) hold fire till you open a nice student account with a lovely interest free overdraft because.....

Very shortly the banks will be battling for your business. As well as a nice interest free overdraft they will be wanting to shower you with gifts. I'm not saying that the same will happen this year, but last year when I opened my account both HSBC and NatWest were offering free *FIVE YEAR* railcards with their accounts. So wait for the offers and your UCAS offer and you can be laughing at saving:-

    a) any interest you'd have to pay on your overly-abused overdraft
    b) £100 (plus any inflation) on five 1-year railcards
    c) 30% on most train fares.

I've saved over £150 in fares this year. So if you're starting uni this year don't open your account yet and don't buy a railcard yet. You'll get both if you wait.

I noticed that it does not actually say anywhere that photocopies of the voucher are not acceptable, so my hubby has made a few copies at work for me and I have distributed them to my friends - we shall have to wait and see if they will honour them though, but I don't see why not.

If I send you an SAE would you be able to send me a copy (if you find they are accepted?

All my local stores have the July issues is there any chance of buying the June issue anywhere?

Can you buy back issues in the July issue?
