Try reading the posts properly. I'll repeat, Where does it state that the funds have to come from a third party?
Perhaps you should try reading posts properly before berating people who are trying to help you.
In post#4, Archi Bald never said anything about "third party" - simply, "Were at least £500 paid in during the statement month, from an account not in the name of either of the account holders? ".
You invented the "third party" so I pointed you to the Santander documentation which explains it perfectly clearly.0 -
Kernel Sanders, my question still stands: Were at least £500 paid in during the statement month, from an account not in the name of either of the account holders?0

Well that is the reason why you have received no interest then.
Why?
The terms that you've quoted do not say that the account can't come from one held in the names of the joint account holders?
Are there additional terms that you haven't referred to in this thread? (I don't quite care enough to check myself)0 -

4. Monthly Funding requirements
You must pay at least £500 into your account every month. This is not a calendar month, it is the monthly anniversary from the date you
opened/transferred your account. The £500 minimum monthly payment does not include refunded amounts from your Visa Debit card
or amounts transferred into the account from another Santander account in your name (including any joint accounts). Transfers in from a
Santander Business Account do count towards the minimum £500 payment.0 -
I said in an earlier post that if when you log on that you can see your joint accounts, along with your sole accounts, that Santander wont regard any deposit as not coming from you:

See my emphasis.
The OP has not said (or implied) that the funding is coming from another Santander account.
From what they have said, it seems that it is coming from an account in their name at another bank (eg their Barclays account or their TSB account).
The T&Cs you've quoted do not disallow funding of this kind, so that would not explain why they haven't had their interest...0 -

If I could interrupt for a second. I received interest for several months this year on a second 123 account funded only by a tfr from our joint account. Maybe this is a recent t&c change?Ethical moneysaver0

Just wondering whether the monthly anniversary date is that on the 'Welcome to your new Santander account' letter.. or perhaps the one which advises log-on details?0
