I'm a STB kind of guy because I like to record, so all my comments thus far were about platform rather than devices. I've no idea about YouView built into TVs. You seem to think Freeview Play will replace YouView, or that it is better somehow - that's what I disagree with.
Compared to OP's LG, that Pana does look good value.
