Virgin Media charging unadvised 20 GBP moving charge

I moved flat two weeks ago, having had Virgin Media in the previous flat (for more than the contractual period) and having arranged a move.

I have now received the monthly bill and found out they want to me charge me 20 GBP moving charge, which they never told me about. Moreover had they told me about it, I might have as well cancelled the old contract and arranged a new one with them or with some other company where the installation (which in this case consisted of me plugging the box into the cable that was clearly used for VM before) would have been for free.

As this is pretty bad customer experience (you don't get to charge someone arbitrary amount of money you never advise them about and which they could have avoided if they didn't stay a loyal customer), I contacted them and asked them to cancel the charge, and at best they offered me 5 GBP credit which I took because the lady on the other end of the line clearly had no clue what to do in this situation other than to say she is sorry.

I wonder if someone had a similar experience before - did you dispute this?

what do the T&C's say, in the contract that you agreed to? If there's nothing about this charge in there then you shouldn't have to pay.
