I apologise in advance if this is not the right place to post but this is my first post.
I've just recently noticed my son (12 years old) that his mobile bill was about £5.00 higher than usual the other month now upon delving deeper into this its come to light that he's clicked whilst on facebook "win and iphone".......his details have been used and he was sent a text which has charged up £4.50......i have proof from his phone records that he texted "stop" to the number a minute later.
since that date we have been charged for receiving a further 11 texts at £4.50. I called them yesterday and they said they would pass to the refunds department and I received an email saying they were not going to refund. I then called and made a formal complaint which as you can guess I've just received another email saying they are refusing to refund fue to him entering a contract. Can anyone help me on this matter.

I am sure you have resolved this by now but thought I would post for the sake of others sanity. Topikoo sent me a few texts saying I was going to be charged £4.50 per week until I cancelled. The info provided was to text STOP to 67776. This did nothing but Topikoo or parent company Tekka sent me a text about how to cancel which was a wild goose chase. After lengthy discussions with EE and after threatening to cancel my contract they did some research and told me to text STOPALL to 62442. I then received a text to say I was unsubscribed from their services. Note if you ask ur service provider can put a bar on all 3rd party charges that you have not specifically authorised. I will be a little more careful about opening things I get sent on facebook. :mad:0
