. (EZY2285) Advised full plane on time depart at 12:55
. Settled on board asked to make room in overhead lockers for hold cases, which were taken on board!
. Then senior baggage handlers with more knowledge advised that this was not allowed and it would be breaking security rules
. Request by captain for thirty peoples bags to be removed and told they would be sent on the following day, people went mad. Then request for thirty volunteer's for their bags to be sent on the following day, which did not happen. So taken off ad hoc.
. Advised passengers to disembark, kept in transit for a long period of time with no advice
. then had to be checked in through security etc.
. re-boarded approximately 16:20
Personal Comments:
EasyJet knowing there was a problem with part of the hold, had no plan of action and it was all as the captain said "a complete fiasco".

topcat330 - if your delay upon arrival was in excess of 180 minutes you are entitled to 261/2004 compensation so read the very useful Vauban's Guide then future posts, if required, should be on the easyJet thread. If your delay was less than 3 hours no compensation due.
Another useless/worthless post from SirGimpy I note ~ about as much use/help as the chocolate teapot.0 -
Sir Gimpy's post was removed, I see. Quite right too.0
