Feeling better after a productive afternoon.
Got my library books renewed.
Spent an hour on paperwork.
Flew through the FlyLady work (I do the bits the cleaner doesn't have time for)
Got Winter Prepping done as far as I can - there's quite a lot on the shopping list (!)
Spent an hour on my recipe and ingredient index.
Tonight's dinner is South Indian Vegetable Stew (with home grown shallots), brown rice and sweetcorn.
Plan for this evening:
Bit of research into the Amish as they fascinate me.
Crafts (probably quilting as it's a while since I did any and it's supposed to be my Lottie Replacement Therapy)Household: Laura + William-cat

Camelot
No word from viewers, sadly. Have decided to just let things take their own time. Ideally I would downsize before winter but that does not look likely.
TA
I used to do loads of things that you mention for DH , also finely diced fish pie which he liked. and chicken and mushrooms diced very fine in a white sauce.
Older DD came round and we packed another suitcase of clothes for her and I showed her how to cook a low fat crustless quiche which we both had for lunch.
It was pouring with rain so I walked her to the bus stop and helped her put the luggage aboard and waved her off. I took the chance to go to shop and got chicken to make chicken and veg soup tomorrow which will leave cooked chicken for another dish.
I also got ingredients for a lamb, spinach and tomato curry to make tomorrow and have just had a home made turkey burger and SW chips for dinner. I also got some low syn pasta in sauce pouches for a quick bite to eat in emergencies.

Just having a minute after a very productive day. Tidied the kitchen including giving the fridge a thorough clean out, cleaned the cooker and microwave. I also gave the Rayburn a thorough clean and polish.
After doing all that tidying I started cooking and made a chicken and bacon lasagne, a chicken bacon and mushroom lasagne, bacon and mushroom carbonnara, pork steaks with stuffing, roasted veg for a pasta dinner later in the week and last but not least I have about a dozen YS chillis drying out in the warming oven. After all that cooking I will need to clean the oven again but for now I'm having a cup of tea and a 5 minute break before I get my jobs finished for the day.0 -
