Each development, probably even each house is different, so go for a second viewing, make a load of noise and see if the neighbors come round to complain ^^
Your nearest "neighbors" will be about 3000 miles away, so are unlikely to complain. However it's possible your "neighbours" might.0 -

I'm in a 3 bed terrace. My next door neighbours have a newborn and a 2 year old and we never hear them! I've heard the baby cry once - he was in the garden and I had my windows open.
Sound insulation is very good.0 -
Hiya,
I'm currently buying a 3 bed semi detached house from TW, i was questioning about the sound proof as well.
I went to the show home and try to raise my voice and knock on the wall and my wife is standing in another side. it seems worked very well!
We are in North west BTW0 -

While people might think your mad, it's good thing to do these things BEFORE you make an offer. Some things you don't realise until you bought the house and it's too late.
I would even walk round the area at night as well to see if it's safe. Obviously applies to builds that are completed and not purely still under construction"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
