I've put £15 on a SIM it turns out I don't actually need (stupid much ) nor want. TPO doubled the credit to £30, and I was wondering whether anyone knew a way to get some of this credit back as cash?

Doubtful. I'm not aware of any operators that have this option.0

There used to be websites who would take your credit via premium text, and give you a percentage back, but I can't find any now.0

This may not be what you want to hear but have you considered using the balance to make a donation to your favourite charity?
Many charities allow you to do this with a text message. I did this when I had a SIM that was no longer of use to me.0 -
I wouldnt mind knowing as well if there was a way of reclaiming back credit. Recently bought a second phone for the wife and had to buy a £10 preloaded sim from EE. I wont be needing it as her contract is with virgin mobile and im on o2. Apart from charity of course, there must be somewhere where you can spend it?Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.0 -
There used to be some betting sites that took payg credit? I used them to recycle credit a while back, but I'm not sure any of them are still around?
The networks have never refunded credit, or you could use the same £10 over and over and they'd make no money (shame)...0 -
I used getpoundsback last year, but they seem to have gone now0

If anyone has any EE sims that have credit on them then you can add that number to your Google Play account (via mobile billing) and buy apps with that credit. You need to stick that sim in an Android phone or a tablet to do this though (maybe you have a spare phone/tablet).0
