Exactly, 18185 calls don;t exist as far as BT is concerned.
I use my 18185 web account for full itemisation of 18185 calls.
Oh, and you can enable the option in 18185 to announce the pence per min charge before each call starts, this is excellent. Other trick is to store the 18185 prefix on your phone with the full number after it, prevents forgetting to use 18185.
I still need to know why calls using the 18185 service aren't showing up on my current usage / itemised bill with BT. It's like the calls don't exist to them. That can't be right.
It is right. BT's itemised bills show you the calls that they (BT) bill to you. 18185 sidesteps BT, hence why they're not shown. (It's like an 0800 number, which isn't shown on a BT itimised bill because it's free to call.)
