Read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then appeal using the template letter contained within the aforementioned NEWBIES exactly as it is.

Meanwhile, complain to the Gym management that the scumpany they have employed are harassing genuine customers. If that doesn't work, find another gym, telling your old gym why, and make sure all your friends and family know about this scam.

Do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving, do not miss the appeal deadline.

You can't attach the fine letter because it isn't a fine.

If you want to show us the speculative invoice you received however, upload it to a web hosting site such as tinypic or photobucket and post the URL here, but change http to hxxp and someone here will convert it for you.

    hello all,

i am really thankful for your replies. in the meantime i have spoken to my gym and asked them to help me in this issue. they were reluctant at first but now informed me that they will look into the issue. Also i have taken a photo of terms of conditions and it no where states that i cannot park with reserved bays.
please have a look at both photos and advise me
  • Hi all

Please advise me on the appeal as my gym has completely ignored my request for help and instead told me to follow the appeal with flashpark.

please advise me further on appeal

PPC, usually read these forums, so assume they do read this thread

no need to add anything else at this stage, save it for popla

appeal as keeper, give nothing away , adding pcn number , name and address , appealing before day 25 after the windscreen ticket (but after day 21)

if no windscreen ticket was issued then they must have got your details some other way , but its too early for a postal notice unless they are using ANPR ?

if its an ANPR postal notice, use the appeal letter before 28 days are up (so it doesnt time out)

but FLASHPARK dont use ANPR according to the BPA , so any postal notice is too early and they must have used a digital camera or mobile phone to take it (easily altered as per UKPC issues) !!!!!!!!!!!

also get back onto the gym and insist the manager tells flashpark to cancel if you were parked there correctly in accordance with your membership

    clicky links https://imgur.com/tU4bTnL

    and http://imgur.com/weiVdoW

it says permit holders only , so do you have a valid permit on display or do you enter your VRN in the premises ?

it also says "INCORRECTLY PARKED" - this can include being parked in a RESERVED bay , especially without a valid permit - this is what they have done with you

so as your notice states you were parked without a valid PERMIT , but you have not mentioned if you have one and were displaying it if you do have one ?

not having one is what appears to have triggered this postal PCN

that pcn says PARKING CHARGE NOTICE, not PENALTY charge notice (no mention of the word "fine" either" , I think you made those last 2 words up yourself

its a pcn = Parking Charge Notice

its an INVOICE , not a "FINE"

send Flashpark the template appeal after day 21 and before day 25 (from the date of the postal notice) , if doing the appeal by royal mail take the letter (envelope) to the P.O. counter and get a free certificate of posting from the counter staff and keep it safe

flashpark is a self ticketing operation so it is the gym who are issuing the tickets. they get £15 for each 9 tickets paid so have no incentive to get involved. time to change gyms, perhaps.

Also please look at your photos again you are still showing your reg number.
  • Hi all

As i am a member of the gym, i can park on the premises car park. There are no valid passes given to anyone who parks in the car park.
There are reserved bays in the car park, where i parked as well but no where on the signs says that who can park there and who cannot park there. the only signs in the car park are the ones that i have attached the photo of.
it was indeed the gym manager who took the photo and sent it to flashpark.

i will send the appeal recorded as mentioned in this forum.
    thanks guys
