I was looking into booking a Hilton for next year for a convention and actually found Expedia to be cheaper! Also there is 7.25% cashback with Quidco too plus 200 Nectar points too. If you are looking to book something from Expedia and it is for this year, there is also a £20 off voucher for 'recommend a friend' too

Hi,

I recently made a booking via Hilton Central reservations to use Tesco Clubcard vouchers. When I received email confirmation the price was more than expected as the lady on the phone had not made clear to me that the price quoted was per night and not for the 2 night duration that I had requested. With the current 50% sale it rendered the £200 vouchers useless. I complained via email but was too late to cancel the vouchers which I had subsequently sent to Glasgow. I have since received the Hilton vouchers through the post and was wondering whether I was obliged to use them at the hotel with which i made the intitial booking as they appear to be standard hilton vouchers. A very nice man from the hotel has agreed to cancel my original booking without penalty and hence i would like to use the vouchers for another booking if possible. Anyone have any answers?
