I'm sorry if i've put this in the wrong section but i couldn't find a thread.

I'm looking for the hilton hotels offer, buy one night get one free, does anyone know i could find the code & rules please or please could you tell me? I can only seem to find an expiry date.

Uau, you're really a newbie (1 post)!! Welcome.

Not the answer you are looking for, but have a look at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hilton-hhonors-417/ If there is a place for hilton codes, it is there.

There is also the option of looking for discounts in hotels.com, hotelopia, etc and they often have hilton properties. They do require pre-payment normally.

Finally you can try priceline if you are set on your dates. There are priceline guides here at MSE and there is betterbidding.com for a wealth of info. It may be worth researching this if you stay in hotels often. It does take some time to undertsand the rules, but I am sure you will save loads in the future.

Hi,

Promotion codes are generally for people who are HHonors (Hiltons Reward Card) members. They get emailed these for their next stay and discounts depend on what level of spend you have with the hotels.

The best place to look for cheap deals is probably priceline.co.uk at the moment where you can set your own price for the property you want to stay at.

Step 1: Check the rate on hiltons (or any other hotels) site
Remember to check the "Advance Purchase Rate" and not the Best Available Rate.

Advance Purchase is generally non cancellable but best available you can cancel upto 24 hours prior to arrival.

Step 2: Find the hotel on priceline.co.uk (you wont be guaranteed to get this hotel) and they will suggest a price to pay.

Step 3: Enter how much you want to pay and voila - if they find something its automatically booked for you.

If you want a specific hotel, check booking.com or hotelcalculator.com.

Note that expedia, lastminute, and other OTA's (Online Travel Agents) dont have a huge relationship with hotels directly. They use the inventory of specific bed banks (hotel wholesalers) like Gullivers travel, Travco (https://www.travco.co.uk), Miki and various others.
