Hi, Car cut out last week while driving, engine lost power. Anti-Pollution fault flashed up, but it restarted again a minute or so after. Read the codes using a basic reader and it gave me P0001. Cleared the fault, but has just done the same again a few days later with the girlfriend driving it, stranded her in the middle…

Another vote for getting the codes read by some proper diagnostic kit.

It could easily be as simple as a dirty MAP or MAF sensor.

The fact it goes back to normal after being switched off means it is likely just a sensor. That is only going by my experience.

Never heard of an Anti Pollution system warning on a non DPF Pug/Citreon though.

Might be an idea to give the EGR a clean.
