Another vote for getting the codes read by some proper diagnostic kit.
It could easily be as simple as a dirty MAP or MAF sensor.
The fact it goes back to normal after being switched off means it is likely just a sensor. That is only going by my experience.
Never heard of an Anti Pollution system warning on a non DPF Pug/Citreon though.
Might be an idea to give the EGR a clean.0
