Sorry I've been a long time coming back all. Been trying to see what's happened here.
Also really sorry we've made this mistake and sent emails we shouldn't have. There's information on our website that mrpsmith links to above (post 10). Thanks mrpsmith.
Just to assure everyone, no sensitive personal data has been shared or leaked. We'll be letting the Information Commissioner know what's happened too.
Hope this and the information on the website helps. I'll let you know if there's any other developments as and when I'm told about them. Thanks for your patience.

All of us raise a formal complaint, and force them to donate to a charity for their errorDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Don't be silly - none of us posting here are even customers!
You are foolish if you believe that these fines or charity donations are not just passed straight onto current customers in future bill hikes. It won't come out of the pockets of the Directors or shareholders...
The customer always pays these fines in some ways - ex-customers complaining to force a fine means current customers will pay for it.0 -
Got one as well, many years after leaving them.
Just an IT/human screw-up that happens. They never promised to delete our details - unlike some other "service" in the press recently.
The most I would expect is an apology email - if the first went to a dead address or junk folder, the apology will follow.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Thanks for your understanding victor2. Apology emails are currently being sent to the addresses we mistakenly sent them to last week.
Really sorry for the inconvenience we've caused with this mistake.
