Silly question about Venice

My OH has always wanted to go to Venice but it doesn't appeal to me at all. I was thinking though of taking him for his 60th. Now, don't laugh, the reason I don't fancy it is because of all that water! I am terrified of water and whenever Venice is shown on tv I always think how awful it looks because of all the water.…

I suggest that you get a hotel fairly close to the railway station otherwise your transfer to your hotel could be by boat. The station area has some decent hotels so you shouldn't have any problems in finding one that is suitable.
