Goodbye Summer Duvet

Well last night the summer duvet was put away and the winter one brought back out.
Both Dh & I woke up yesterday morning feeling really quite cold.
This was early for us, generally we get to the end of Sept before the switch over.
Anyone else swapped over already??

We only have one duvet all year round too. I think it's 10.5 tog. In the summer DH just pushes it off him and I stick my legs out the side of it!0

I'm the same but the other way round, I hate being hot at night so a 4.5 tog duvet all year for me, with an occasional HW bottle in the depths of winter to take the chill off when I first get in bed.0 -
4.5 tog for us most of the year, the winter one only comes out if it's below freezing for over a week
Can't stand being too hot at night0 -
We use sheets in the summer and a thin duvet at this time of year and then we have a very thick kingsize duvet that comes out when it is actually winter.:) If it gets really cold we also have extra blankets and hot water bottles.0

Still using a 1.5 tog duvet and warm enough0

We will be swapping our duvet for a warmer one at the weekend when I strip the bed. I am noticing the temperature drop for sure, I'm sitting here with a cardi on for a start
. I look forward to the change in the weather really as long as I have lots of warm jumpers and hot water bottles. Can't afford to put the heating on yet unfortunately.

That's us too. We never swapped last year, have bedroom radiator off and just let heat from the rest of the house circulate. We tend to leave the window open slightly a lot of the time. DH gets hot quicker than I do. If I need more warmth there's blankets at the bottom of the bed.
I like to snuggle in. I don't like being too hot.0 -
I've got a 4.5 tog on at the moment. I'm buying a new mattress next month, and at the same time I will switch to my 13.5 tog - going to be cosy this winter!0
