Temporary internet, how?

Options
Morning :)

I'm moving on 21/9 but have just been advised my internet wont be active until 6/10. Not sure I can survive that long:eek:

Is there any way I can get internet while I'm waiting? I know it won't be the cheapest option but I vaguely remember buying a stick to get internet about 5 years ago ... do they still exist?

Idiots guide please :rotfl:

Thanks

VB x

You can still get mobile dongles.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • yes, mobile dongles, i have one i use all the time as have no broadband in the house, and love it, had it on contract though, if you get a sort of pay monthly one as usual its more expensive for less data, so jut keep an eye out for total data used.
Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's

Of course this is just nonsense.

You get more data on contract. The only caveat is that if you need the service for less than one month, one should remember to give the 30 day notice of cancellation on the same day of activation. After 30 days, you can then just use it on a PAYG basis using a PAYG SIM.

    30 day contract:

£29.99 gets you 15GB of data and a 4G Mobile WiFi unit. Here

    PAYG:

£19.99 gets you 2GB of data and a 3G Mobile WiFi unit. Here

Get friendly with the new neighbour and use theirs for a week or so.

id second this, but if you're just using it in a single device like a laptop or computer, the little dongles are only £9.99
