  • Hi MrsE - I made a lamb tagine last weekend with a red onion and pomegranate relish on the side (courtesy of Nigella!) It was delicious and not too oniony!

Finely slice a red onion and steep it for about 30 mins in 4 tablespoons of lime juice and a slug of pomegranate juice (I was using this in the tagine anyway but think it would work with just lime juice too). Drain all the oniony juice off and mix in a seeds of one pomegranate (or a packet of seeds - much easier!) and some chopped coriander. Stir it all together with a good pinch of salt and serve on top of your tagine. Yum!
Decluttering, home-making and 'proper' cooking are my priorities this year and trying to finish all those unfinished hobby projects before spending any more money!
