Waitrose - brilliant new half price offers

  • Waitrose currently have a "Buy 2 for £3.50" offer across Kellogs snack bars. This includes Special K red berry bars multipack (10x21.5g) which is normally £4.29 for one. So buy two boxes, that's 20 bars for 79p less than 10 bars. If you're particularly lucky, like at my local Waitrose, they still have the 12x23g bar multipack which has now been replaced by the smaller 10 bar version but has the same barcode and therefore is included in the offer. So that's 24 bars for 79p less than 10. Can't go wrong! Offer is valid until 13/10
  • The Linda McCartney Mozzarella burgers are really nice. I can't eat many meals without meat, but these are tasty .

    I will be getting more.

Many thanks for this, and I wanted to highlight for those who haven't used Waitrose before and have a spare £100 you can save ~ £150 as I did:

1 - New user registration via Quidco for £5
2 - £20 off £100 code for new user as advertised on Waitrose site
3 - Order £120 of the more expensive long life half price goods (Bold, Vanish, etc) which would of cost £240 pre-sale
    4 - £120 minus the £20 voucher = £100
    5 - £100 - £5 Quidco eventually = £95

So £240 of stuff for £95.

Would also have been worth selecting your 20% my offers for your card to see what half price offers you can get the extra off as well :)

Thank you! I'm vegetarian and always on the hunt for something - I'll give these a try.

I call into Waitrose every now and again. Went there for wine on Saturday and delighted to see that Sensodyne toothpaste that DH uses was £2.24 instead of the usual £4.50.

Personally I'm happy with Colgate from the £ shop!:rotfl:

You are falling for the usual trick of looking at the advertised saving , rather than what you are paying.
What you should be saying is "this stuff cost me £95 - how much would it have cost me if I had bought it somewhere else ? "
I am NOT saying that the Waitrose isnt a good offer (and I have no idea what the answer to the above question is )

I normally shop at Tesco and only bulk buy items like washing powder when at half price (6 months worth typically).

I never pay full price for anything :rotfl:

The Waitrose offer matched those periodically offered by Tesco but with the additional £25 saved with the £20 first time customer code and £5 Quidco it ensured I made a greater than the usual saving.
  • Just wanted to say thanks to whoever it was that recommend the essentials toilet roll. Suprised me how soft it is. I will definitely buy again.

I wonder if waitrose will do a winter half price event like they did last year, it's a great way to stock up.
