Waitrose - brilliant new half price offers

Options
As from today Wed Sept 16th, Waitrose are offering a fair number of products HALF PRICE.

For instance Ocean Spray Cranberry Classic is 67p instead of 1.35 - and since I have it as one of my Pick Your Own, I get an extra 20% off, making it 54p!

I know that some of the offers are the costly branded products like Finish Dishwasher tablets ( £20 original price for 60 tablets) and Magnum Ice-Cream, and some of you will prefer the costly branded products, but others are really good.

eg Kettle Crisps 99p for 150 grams (many varieties)
Legs of lamb are half price.

Plus the free coffee ( and paper if you want), it is well worth checking what is on offer before you shop

Don't forget you can also change your 10 discounted items aswell.

I just ordered 10 boxes of the Bold 2in1 Pearls after changing my favourites and adding them.

Works out at £1.60 for a box of 18 :beer:

Perle de le or whatever its called yoghurt is 87p for 4 pots.
    j20 was in the deal.
A few veggie McCartney things were in it.
Some nice looking basa fish in lemon and pepper crumb good brand escapes me now.
lemon and poppy seed muffins in a 2 pack.
  • I have noticed that when Waitrose do offers, they are often pretty good offers. They seem to be much more honest than Tesco. ie: not quadrupling the price one day so that they can say it's "HALF PRICE!!!!£!!££!" the next.

Did a quick small shop today, the total went from £23+ to £11 I wanted to get the bold deal. also got the 2kg of Basmati for 3.43

I picked up a carex hand wash and noticed a tag saying 20% so I will take a look and make a change.

going to try the Basmati. If it's nice I will get another, that will last me a while.

Had just been sent some £8 off £40 coupons so stocked up on the fairy non bio tabs and some other cleaning stuff in the half price offer. Changed a couple of my 20% off picks so doubled up on a couple of deals and the parrot has not been left out with a 3 for 2 fruit and veg deal.
  • I must myself go to Waitrose next week, whilst Persil is on half price offer. I also got the money off coupons today. Spend £10 and get £2 off, 4 vouchers. Good deal as I will be buying wash powder with the extra £2, off something that is half price anyway.
  • I've been back to waitrose again, that bold deal was too good to resist.

Also grabbed the 3 for £10 chickens, plus the 20, grabbed some other half price bits. watched my total go from £28 to £13

Also the lenor is half price and in your own picks. so £1.20 for 44:washes, Asda is £2.50 for a 77 wash at the moment, so this works out 88 washes for £2.40 if 2 bottles are bought. There is also £1 off lenor coupon on super savvy that might work.

  • Apparently the bold deal is on until 13/10.

Also if carex is one of your picks then it's 72p

  • Hi All,

I keep hearing people recommending Waitrose for quality, although they are not cheap at all. Are there really high quality products worth its price? What are your favourite products and why?
  • If you are selective, it is in my opinion. I do use Aldi quite a lot which is cheaper - an odd combination you may think.

My favourite shop is Sunday morning at 9am. I get the Sunday Times free (£2.50) plus a free coffee provided I spend £10 which is easy eg but a chicken for dinner.

Frozen plaice fillets at 3.99 for 425 grams are excellent.
Dishes like Waitrose Lamb Moussaka are delicious though not too cheap (on Pick Your Own offer for 20% discount.
    Some very reasonable venison.
Half price offers like mince at 5.25 per kilo / leg of lamb at 5.99 per kilo.

So not where I do a main shop, but convenient for quality dishes at a fair price and a free coffee.
