Please can anyone help me, I've followed the advice on this thread and have now reached a point where my case against United (missed connection London - Newark - Orlando, due to short delay, resulting in arriving in Orlando 8 hours 57 minutes late) has been referred to Liverpool court as United have defended it all the way, claiming that it was only a 30 minute delay (it was but that caused the missed connection - we were ticketed from London to Orlando, causing us to have to stay overnight as no more flights that day)

I'm hours away from Liverpool so can't realistically get there and am just feeling really out of my depth with it, I don't want to put anymore money into it, we've already paid out over £100 that we don't really have for the online money claim, and I'm worried we're going to have to pay more in court fees.

If anyone can help / advise me I'd be really grateful. So many people I know in my position have just had their claim settle by United without them having to go this far, but with us they seem to have dug their heels in, despite my case being the same.

Update.

I've received the defence letter from United's solicitors today asking me to sign to agree to it, they are using other cases to prove that I'm not entitled to claim, BUT have finally admitted to me being delayed for the almost 9 hours.

They have also said that I can only claim for myself and not the rest of my family, so are trying to reduce what I'd be entitled to down to 1/4 of the claim.

Should I enlist a no win no fee company to help me? I'm feeling really out of my depth with all this.
