Yes, yes, I know - no threads about DRP allowed !!!
.... but .... I'm helping someone with a ticket and they're getting the normal hounding from DRP ( no problem as the person isn't easily intimidated ). I get a call from said person this morning to say they've had a personal visit from someone from DRP.
This DRP monkey left a letter saying they missed the person I'm helping and that they would call again. I've recommended that a letter is sent to DRP denying the debt ( I usually recommend ignoring them ) and telling them to return it to their client and no further contact will be accepted.
Has anyone else heard or experienced a visit from DRP ? It's the first I've heard of it happening.

It would be interesting to hear their spiel to see what cobblers they come out with. It would also be good to have someone who knows what they're talking about from the other side be there as well.
I think filming it would give people a few laughs as well

Never heard of such a thing, but if writing to DRP he/she should tell them that their implied right of access to his/her front door is withdrawn and they will be trespassing if they enter his/her property again.Je suis Charlie.0

You must live close to their offices or one of their monkeys, otherwise they don't bother.0

Surely that's straight up harassment? They've got no reason to visit beyond intimidation/nuisance, and should be reported to anyone who'll listen?0

I've heard of it once before, but in that case there was an element of doubt as to whether it was in relation to a parking claim (could have been an unpaid utility bill, or something similar), or whether the thread was started by a troll. It tailed off when the regulars started asking for actual details.Je Suis Cecil.0

I've asked for picture of the letter - not because I doubt the information - just for interest. I'll clean it and post it up once I have it ( just to prove I'm not a troll

This will be a first as far as I'm concerned and if its correct - and that DR+ aren't dealing with another issue (does it matter they're a bottom-feeding DCA?) tell the person to contact DR+ as soon as possible - in writing not by phone - and inform them that any further calls at their home address will be regarded as harassment. Ensure that they advise DR+ that any implied general licence for them, their directors, staff, agents or contractors to call at the premises is withdrawn forthwith and that any further entry or attempted entry onto the property will also be regarded as trespass. Ask that DR+ acknowledge receipt of the information (get a certificate of posting etc).My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

Send them two copies of the letter, ask them to sign one and return it to you. Enclose a stamped and addressed envelope. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
