Vodafone RED - Possible to downgrade?
Hi All,
Read the article on this site regarding downgrading mobile contracts. It appears it's possible to downgrade the contract after 9 months or so, but I wanted to check (hopefully with a Vodafone rep!) to see if this was possible on the RED plans? I am 12 months into a 24 month plan.
Thanks

I am pretty sure it's either your misunderstanding or MSE's misinformation, at least for the majority of contracts.Hi All,

I don't see why RED plan can be an exception.but I wanted to check (hopefully with a Vodafone rep!) to see if this was possible on the RED plans?0 -
It's a very old article, before the introduction of RED plans, hence my question. So more a case of checking the information is still current - which I suspect it isn't.
I'd post the link but it's blocked me from doing so. It's the top result when googling "cancel phone contracts money saving expert".0 -

Here's the link:

It does say "correct as at March 2011". So 4 years out of date.====0 -
You can downgrade 12 month Sim Only plans after 9 months, but not 24 month contracts.
On Vodafone, the upgrade/downgrade is available 3 months before the end of the contract, so for a 24 month contract, you need to wait until month 210 -
Thanks for clarifying :-)0
