Dawn, I've never followed a hairy biker recipe, looking to order some recipe books from the library, is there one you'd recommend I try?
It depends on what you want to cook Lego Mum. I don't watch their programmes on the TV (I hardly ever watch the TV) but like their books and their recipes always work and look like the pictures! I have the 3 diet recipe books, 1 acquired from a charity shop, and the other two SH from Amazon. The recipes are unlike diet recipes, and I use them to feed my anti-diet OH as well as me, and he doesn't realise :rotfl: They have done lots of non-diet books as well though.Evening Everyone
Well today was excellent trade wise. What a turn around. We had a Mums and babies group in the morning, & everyone was merrily ordering bacon rolls & coffee. The trade was fairly steady all day, so no mad rushes to cope with or boring bits. Have paid the landlord the remaining £50, made sure my business card is paid also, & now I feel a little more relaxed.
Dawn - You werent tempted to kiss it then & see if it turned into a handsome young suitor? Lol
As its our wedding anniversary Im cooking a lovely thai green curry tonight, with prawns. Have got some lovely spicy crackers & chilli dip, and egg noodles to go with it. Really looking forward to tucking in to warm up as son and I got soaked to the skin on the school run cycle tonight. Off for a hot bath in a moment too!
Bob
Glad you had a better day Bob, enjoy the Anniversary meal. Not sure what my grandchildren would think about handsome young suitors lol, but next-to-smallest GD is mad about toads :rotfl:0 -
Ohhh, I'm a hairy dieters convert too Legomun! *Love* the recipes, and as DawnW says, they always work really well! :-)Started DMP with stepchange - Feb 2016 Self Managed - October 2016

Thanks Ally for the voucher
Bob, hope you had a lovely anniversary meal.0 -
Before I forget - happy anniversary Bob - hope you've had a lovely meal.
Did I say something about a quiet day? I lied. I'd completely forgotten about a school open evening that my DD wanted to go to. So by the time I got out of my department meeting at half four I had to go straight to the open evening. Bang went the NSD on a McDonalds for each of the kids - ugh, ugh, ugh! Anyway - I'm home, showered and in bed now with lunches done for tomorrow but not that much else.crazy_cat_lady wrote: »Good morning everyone

Too late really for me to post my list. It's been a loooong day... Woke up when DH left for work at 1.45am... was still awake when small banged her head in her sleep at 4am  although she came for cuddles in our bed, she didn't go back to sleep. Tickling my nose was much more fun :rotfl: I should really be in bed now, but after a long day at work plus working for 3 hours tonight I seem to have gone passed it. Am working from hme for next two days so I can't complain too much
I have been good, I'll do a combined list tomorrow I think. hope everyone is ok (and warm and cosy)0 -
Bob thank you for starting us off today and happy anniversary.
Thank you everyone who asked after ds, he went to sleep very easily last night (which is unlike him) and woke later than usual at about 10 am, he hasn't vomited since yesterday afternoon and he is no longer running a temperature, so I am hoping he doesn't have a relapse tomorrow.
I have done various dfw things today including a NSD.
Sleep well everyone and love and hugs to you all.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
