Morning DFW-ers, :wave:
So, I'm hoping today will be nice and sane and fluffy and that today's strategy will pay off. I'm going to right down my list in a certain order so I don't end up faffing about trying to decide what to do next.
Nillionaire Month Four:
* Turned alarm clock off at the wall til tonight.
* Checked broadband allowance. Work out which SIM to use until the allowance refreshes on Friday.
* Make sure sink is clean and clear at bedtime as the housing association plumber is coming tomorrow to fix the dripping cold tap for free.
* Bake bread for dinner.
* Re-started my running routine. Shin has now healed. Find out if there are any cheap races on this month I can enter.
* Home haircut.
* Towels and bed linen out on the line.
* Job-seeking.
* Hoover mattress.
* Drink mainly water.
* Go blackberrying. Ours are ready later up here than down south.
Have a good evening all.

Set up a blog
I think that is more than enough to keep me busy for today, Hope everyone has a good Wednesday x0 -
Good morning everyone, I decided I would join in on this thread as I have realized that I'm going to have to make some sacrifices if I want to get this debt paid off and get on with the rest of my life. So here goes:
Done:
- made my own lunch for work
- signed up for a psychology research study (I work at a university), this involves wearing an activity tracker for a week but will pay £40 plus the possibility of £20 in amazon vouchers for follow up surveys.
- found a cheaper salon. Decided I could justify my haircut and colour no longer. Found a local salon where I can get a cut and colour for £27 as apposed to the £73 I've been paying in the city centre salon. (I love my stylist so this is a big step in the right direction for me !)
Still to do:
- WORKOUT.
- downgrade my mobile phone contract to a cheaper tarrif.
- enter some competitions
- make dinner without buying any added ingredients!
- sell my fitbit (someone is coming to pick it up today)
- recycle my ipad (need to order the packaging later)
- package up some books I'm selling ready to take to the post office tomorrow.
- apply for some jobs (my contract runs out next week)Started DMP with stepchange - Feb 2016 Self Managed - October 2016

Morning/afternoon all!
Ally - I just wanted to say thank you for the cheese voucher offer. I don't do online shopping otherwise I would snap up that last one!
Today I have/will:-
* Check banks
* Load of washing on 30 degree quick wash
* Do washing up as more economical than OH!
* Washing hung on airer as rainy today
* Take lunch to work
* Check FPL
* Earn more on OnePoll
* Message OH and ask to take chicken out of freezer for dinner as forgot
* Send important email
* Work out things I want to achieve whilst OH away (i.e. ebay, music magpie)
* Read Martin's email
* Pick up present for dad
* Go for a short run
* Dinner from stores
* Help OH pack!
* Wash hair and let dry naturally
Think that's everything for today. Hope you all have a good day.Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
Current debt - £5,555.00
Total paid off - £10,045.89 (64% paid off)0 -

Good Afternoon All
Been missing for around a week. Had a break from the dfw life. Some new clothes for me and the girls and a few treats. Time to get back on it now though. been a nice week but to go on holidays and do the bigger things I would like means keeping a eye on the smaller things.
I have priced up holiday options for February. Around £800 self catering £1200 all inclusive in a really nice hotel. Unsure which to do. So for now the aim is to just save save save!
I have a planned evening out tomorrow, just to watch some local bands. Don't want to spend a lot of money so will call round see if I can get lifts or anything, taxis cost to much! Stick to he half of larger's as well.

Hi all
Just checking in quickly. I have been trying really hard to be more organised with meals and using my slow cooker and this is working out really well. I am quite pleased with myself!
2 loads of washing dried outside. Have checked my finances and its all on track so far.
Welcome bsclp. I have recently done exactly the same thing with the hairdresser and I was really nervous about it. My new salon charges £20 less and she made a really good job. I was so pleased!
Right, got to run, gym class tonight, my one indulgence.0 -
Evening Everyone
Well today was excellent trade wise. What a turn around. We had a Mums and babies group in the morning, & everyone was merrily ordering bacon rolls & coffee. The trade was fairly steady all day, so no mad rushes to cope with or boring bits. Have paid the landlord the remaining £50, made sure my business card is paid also, & now I feel a little more relaxed.
Determined - Hope the meeting with your daughter goes well.
Dawn - You werent tempted to kiss it then & see if it turned into a handsome young suitor? Lol
Ziggy - Garage rental/renting out a car parking space is great business if you can get it. Are you near a train station or anything?
CCL - Hope OH had a better night? Will pop over to your diary for a read in a bit...
Lego Mum - Thank you, Im sure all the positive thoughts from people on here cant hinder thingsAm a great believer in mind power. I have thought of a few people lately and suddenly heard from them, is that weird or am I not the only one? Glad you had a fine start, today has been very wet a Londres.
Ally - Hope you had a good day. Is there any news on when you are back to work? I thought you'd had an offer recently.
MMM - Sorry to hear OH has been off so long. That must be a worry for your household? Hope you are feeling better soon too.
BSCLP - Nice to meet you as it were.
Twiggy - How is your car now? All sorted?
Jojo -You deserved a break post DFD. Good luck saving for your holiday now.
Yorkshire - Hope your sons hospital appointment went ok.
As its our wedding anniversary Im cooking a lovely thai green curry tonight, with prawns. Have got some lovely spicy crackers & chilli dip, and egg noodles to go with it. Really looking forward to tucking in to warm up as son and I got soaked to the skin on the school run cycle tonight. Off for a hot bath in a moment too!
Night all
