How much do you want a job?
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.
  • Why wouldn't you? Who is offering you this trial and how did it dome about?

But if you don't do it, you'll never know and never get the chance.

    You've got two options:

    * Do the trial - may get the job.

    * Don't do the trial - definitely won't get the job.

Which sounds like the better one?

Depends if OP has to sign on during the three day trial period. If he/she does, they will probably get sanctioned!

I wouldn't with the premise that if there's enough work to offer me a 3 day trial then I should be paid for that work - it's unreasonable to expect 21-24 hours free labour! A single shift I'd possibly consider it, but 3 full days, that smacks of a store knowing they have something coming up & need extra staff for it!

I can understand a few hours or a day. but i can't believe how bad i would feel if i did all that work for days - for nothing, when i could have used the time job seeking. how is this legal..
