Hi,
I am looking ot check my credit rating and somehow improve it.
I want to do this for free but I have already registerd to Experian, how can I get round this.
ive also tried clearscore but it doesn't give me much info.
Also how can I improve my rating?

Noddle is free and will give you a view of what Call Credit hold on you. Or request the £2 reports from Experian and Equifax. Just look at the data though, not the scores.
You can improve your credit file by being on the electoral roll and using credit sensibly. Regular use of a credit card is a good place to start.0 -

Have you tried an eligibility checker? There are lots of credit cards that are aimed at people with a poor credit history, with the mind of using it to help build you a better one.
Over time and used properly, for example using the credit card to buy something each month that you would normally buy like petrol, and making sure that you have a direct debit set up to clear the balance each month. This is why it is important, when building a credit history, to use it for something you would normally buy, that way you should be able to afford to clear the balance each month.
Repairing your credit history is all about showing future lenders that you can be responsible with credit. Make sure that you are on the electoral roll as well, you will always find it more difficult to obtain credit if you are not.0 -
Clearscore offer a free credit rating/report service – which uses the Equifax database. Seemed pretty comprehensive to me.

Experian is only free for the first 30 days. Remember to cancel it before the 30days trial is up or be prepared to pay up £14.99 per month for their 'services'. Do you pay any utility bills or mobile phone bills at all? Getting them paid by Direct Debit monthly would be a start to build some history. As above, once you have some history of making monthly payments for bills, you can start trying out credit building credit cards.
