switch from Virgin to BT

Was planning to do this in order to get BT sport free, but have just found out the TV box would need to connect to the internet hub. This is a problem as its in another room. Any way around this?

I've heard that some channels don't work with these. Bt sport being one of them - and basically my reason for switching!

Buy Broadband extenders and this will solve your problem. It'll mean less cable running around the house and it will still remain hard-wired.

These are what a previous poster suggested (and my above post refers to before they then deleted their post!)

Can you confirm that all channels work with them? I have heard there is a problem with some channels - specifically BT sport
