Why? It's certainly true as they matched SSE pricing for my fibre unlimited. The only slight downside was that they also matched the 24 month term but as I've no serious complaints about the service and they got a line fault fixed by Openreach in less than a week for me I doubt I'll be itching to leave in that time.

The SSE deal wasn't a 24 month contract, it was only an 18 month contract - the discount however lasts for 2 years (i.e. 24 monthy years). Have Plusnet really put you on a 24 month contract, or have they just matched what SSE were offering?
